OSS registration in France - SIREN/SIRET Number
When trying to register for OSS (One Stop Shop) in France, it’s requesting a SIREN or SIRET number. My company is UK Ltd so doesn’t have a SIREN or SIRET.
My understanding is that in order to have a SIREN or SIRET, my company would have to be registered in France however, as far as I’m aware, the OSS should allow a non-EU company to register for OSS in any EU country. If my understanding is correct, then I don’t see why I’d have to register my company in France in order to register for OSS.
Can anyone shed some light on this please?

I think you can get one but ultimately it has to be administrated by a company inside the EU on your behalf. We used to have this but the agent ramped up the fees massively.
As for a SIRET - If you register for VAT in France you get one.
