Help for initial set up.

My friend is trying to set up a new account and was having trouble with the bank verification because of middle names. Decided to ‘start again’ and create a new Amazon account and also a new bank account so everything matched perfectly. However he is now unable to get verified because it’s showing he has another account. Which he doesn’t as it was never approved. Multiple emails and not any help from seller support no one is able to help him close the first account. Emails with no replies from the specialist team. No one phones or seems to even understand the situation.
Is there anyone who could help close the account / or both accounts so he can just start again.
Being going on for weeks now and I’m coming on here for a last resort for him.

opening a Second account was the very worst thing he could have done. The only option now Is to persevere with getting the first account through verification- the second account is invalid and will have to be closed once first account is verified.
It is against Amazon rules to open a second account if the first isn’t verified.

I’ve added in some names and hopefully someone will close down the second account (forever pending) made in error and hopefully then the first account will go through.
Such a shame as his first experience of Amazon hasn’t gone well.
