Incorrect product information
How do I get Amazon to deal with the following situations ?
- I listed a wooden shape sorter against the existing listing. I then discovered the original lister had erroneously described the shipping weight as 800 KG. My postage template is now showing my postage at £947.
- I listed another product only to discover the original lister’s pictures were of the wrong product. This particular item is a soft toy where there are two similar versions but each has slightly different activities.
In both instances I have pressed the report incorrect information button and explained the issue. Nothing has happened of course.

Prior to offering any items for sale on Amazon, you need to verify that what you are selling exactly matches the description and all the details included on a listing are correct.
Since there are inaccurate information, if you want Amazon to enact your changes, you will most likely need to open a case with the Seller Support under “Products and Inventory” - “Product page issue” and “Fix a product page”.
You will be asked to provide some proof supporting your desired updates, such as a link to the manufacturer’s website.
