What delivery area does the Isle of wight fall under? Is it included in the UK shipping zones?

For Royal Mail as per the rest of the UK it’s fully covered at normal rates. Couriers normally charge a little extra for IOW.

Hampshire, PO30-PO41. The Royal Mail class it as UK Mainland, while other couriers may add surcharges.
I dispatch from PO31 postcode - and have no issues with the Royal Mail. But other couriers can be a pain for arranging collections, but there is a full network of delivery companies and delivery agents that operate here on the island !!

I’ve just had a look on Interparcel and there’s no surcharge for Isle of Wight postcodes with any of their couriers (DPD, UPS, ParcelForce, CollectPlus, DX, InPost, Hermes).
Worth bearing in mind - CollectPlus is one of the few who don’t surcharge for “highlands and islands” and/or Northern Ireland if you book directly through their website.
