Counterfeit Without a Test Buy - account at risk
Hello. I have done stupid mistake, purchased some used items from Amazon itself and sold them , there was like 500 items, all in used condition, everything was good, but for 3 of them I have received Counterfeit Without a Test Buy warning and now my account shows at risk of deactivation. What happens now? At which point my account can be deactivated? it’s currently in Yellow. Also with these three items, it’s three cheap items from China, I tried to submit invoice, that they were in USED condition, however it doesn’t help, all invoices get rejected, even if they been purchased from Amazon warehouse. Any help or advice appreciated.

this is one of the items - B08CDXB7ND
i don’t see any particular brand on it and also item was sold as “used” as 1 part of it was missing.

I didn’t think with used items you could be reported as a brand can’t control who sells items after the first purchase.
Were they definitely all listed as used?

Start to create a plan of action for this , showing you amazon invoices and reading there polices , make a strong plan that you was not aware and how you have learnt from this , as trying to get them withdrawn is near enough impossible ,
Before you send you plan of action post it on here , as the more times they turn it down the harder it becomes .

Hello @ Hellodeal,
I understand your concern about appealing the issue of “counterfeit without a test buy”
As per the Amazon requirements a product can also be considered counterfeit if it is different from what is advertised. This means even if you are selling a genuine product but it does not exactly match with the listed item you may receive such complaint by either the brand or the ASIN owner irrespective if they are not the right owners but they created the ASIN and have rights over it. This is to ensure overall protection of a listing and seller’s performance if they have created the ASIN, hence compliance is expected from other sellers too who are using such listings.
- Kindly write a plan of action acknowledging this miss in listing process.
- The invoices you are submitting should meet the below requirements in order to be accepted by the team:
- Invoices issued in the last 365 days
- Reflect sales volume during the last 365 days.
- Include contact information for supplier AND buyer, including name, phone number, address, and website
- File formats must meet either .pdf, .jpg, .png, or .gif files
- These documents must be authentic and unaltered.
Note: Your details as the purchaser should be verifiable with your Amazon selling account and any discrepancies or incomplete info can lead to documents getting rejected
I hope the above-mentioned info help you with your appeal process.
In case you need more assistance kindly share the update here so we can assist you further or try connecting with the concerned for better insights.

This is the reason I don’t allow any of our branded item returns to be resold, creates an unwanted supply chain.
Also one of the reasons you see so much stock from Amazon being dumped and destroyed ( we don’t do this)
