Amazon Won't Accept My Debit Card

Hello,

I am new here and just signed up but it keeps rejecting my debit card, even though the information is correct. It is just a standard Mastercard debit card so nothing unusual. Has anyone else had this problem? I cannot find an email address anyway to contact them.

Has your card been previously used with a pin? This will activate a new card
Is your card a prepayment card? Amazon will not accept prepayment cards
Is your card registered to your business postcode?

Hi only certain debit and credit cards are excepted this is due to different banks been at different licencing levels and compliance.
A rule of thumb most major highstreet banks are accepted such as barclays, lloyds and American express.

Thanks for the help Peter and Eureka! I just tried a different debit card (although, still mastercard) and it worked fine so I guess it must be the bank. Thanks for your quick responses :slight_smile:
