Seller based in Ireland: Seller fulfilment: Buying Shipping from Amazon
Hi,
I have a question in regards to the buying shipping option when preparing to dispatch your order.
As an individual Irish seller, who isn’t using the FBA option, I have a few questions. All help will be greatly appreciated.
Is the buying shipping option available for Irish sellers?
Once I have my label and I buy the shipping from Amazon, does the courier arrive at my door to collect, or am I making a trip to the post office myself?
Are the couriers available only on weekdays?
Can I use the an post label instead? Is there a big difference in price?
Thank you again.

that’s ok. thank you for trying
The option shows up no problem, I have it set up and ready to go but I get this message: ''No carriers are currently available for your delivery. Wait 15 minutes and try again. ‘’ for the past 4 hrs so I wonder if it’s available at all in Ireland. This stops me from getting the label- I can’t proceed.
Hopefully, someone will be able to help out.
But thanks anyway

Perhaps Take Your Printer Across The Border And Into N.Ireland… And Try Again To Print The Label From There…?

I’m pretty sure that you can’t buy Amazon shipping if you’re based in Ireland. (I was planning to do that and then go into the North to post via Royal Mail, but it wouldn’t let me - kept getting the same message as yourself.)
You can buy the An Post labels online, fill in weight and dimensions, and then take the parcel to the post office yourself. They do discounts for bundles of labels but I think that’s only for domestic postage. The An Post rates are also available online - make sure you check them first because you might get a shock when you see the prices! And don’t forget that the Amazon fee includes a percentage of your postage charge so allow for that when you’re calculating how much to charge.

Thank you so much Craft_Angel1!
I had to send out the sold item today and I did end up using an post labels as the ‘‘No carriers are currently available for your delivery. Wait 15 minutes and try again.’’ was still there at 12 P.M( and I had to dispatch today). When i got back home as I was suspecting- the carriers were available- I couldn’t test it out but I will as soon as I have to send out again; BUT! since it was available and the list of carriers was there perhaps they have changed their policy? I also still have a case opened around this topic with Amazon support- so if I know more I will be sure to update.
