Product Title: Commas a No-No?
I have a couple ASINs with commas in the title and was shocked to see that, during a submission for certification, Amazon's own XLS template says commas cannot exist in titles.
Is there a rule on this, or has this been acknowledged in the past?
Thanks
Ryan

According To Amazon Title Requirements. Commas are OK.

Titles can include necessary punctuation, like hyphens (-), forward slashes (/), commas (,), ampersands (&), and periods (.).
What do you mean by the template says?
Will it not allow you to save?

Our template is allowing commas. Maybe try re-downloading a new template and see if the issue still exists.

It is possible that guidelines are changing as Amazon sometimes starts the changes by making little changes like this one in the template. Maybe try creating the title using a hyphen (-) or a forward slash (/) in place of the comma ... which ever one keeps the best flow and meaning.
After getting the template uploaded, try going into the Manage Inventory pages and see if the system allows for the title to then be updated with a comma from that end. But usually, we see the template changes and then they flow to the Manage Inventory page. That happened not to long ago with the keyword area as several types of inputs where eliminated there for our category.

Hi @Seller_ZOrFbqtBDLGsC! Tatiana from Amazon here. Have you had any luck uploading without the commas and editing the product titles after the fact? I'm also wondering if you have brought this case to Seller Support yet for guidance? If you have opened a case, go ahead and provide the case ID to me here so I can take a closer look.
