Amazon have done me over
Put in a large amount of orders last week as amazon said i was eligible to sell all the brands, proof of that is that they have all been added to my inventory last week (how could that happen if i wasn’t ungated) and now i’ve received them half of them have been turned gated by amazon. How is this even allowed? Has anyone experienced this before?

Can you not ungate them with your invoices?

did you carry out the due diligence of checking if you were able to sell the brands by checking via Add A Product for each of the products you intended to sell?
when you say Amazon said you were eligible - what did they say?

I have been gated on brands before that I am selling. Sometimes Amazon allow you to ungate with invoices other times they say they are not accepting applications.
As a new seller it is sometimes difficult to get ungated for certain brands and categories.
Can you apply for permission to sell the gated products or are Amazon saying they are not accepting applications?

Amazon haven’t ‘done you over’
If you are running a legitimate business, these kinds of issues come up and as others have said, are easily dealt with most of the time.
If on the other hand you are blagging it and have got away with it for a while and now been found out, then that’s the risk you take.
If you had done your due diligence, you would know that RA isn’t an acceptable business model on Amazon, no matter what the get rich quick Lamborghini renters will tell you, it simply doesn’t work long term.
RA is like gambling, you get a good tip, sometimes you’ll make a quick buck, be on top of the world telling everyman and his dog how amazing, special and clever you are, spending money like it comes out of your behind when you flatulate, but eventually you’ll see it all fall apart and blame someone else when it goes wrong.
Take responsibility. Learn the lesson and move on. Quit whining, there’s far too many sob stories on here.
