Cannot add our new product because someone has already listed it - help?
Hi everyone!
This is a bit confusing for me, but I’ll try my best to explain our situation.
We are the brand owner (registered in Brand Registry) of the SCOTT brand. We have 2 new products which we’d like to list, but when trying to do that, I encountered this error saying that the products already exist on Amazon.
I checked the listings in question myself, and yes, the products are there, including our internal SKU and possibly the EAN, although I’m not 100% sure about the EAN. It’s likely the seller has bought a couple of our machines from our other distribution channels abroad (not Amazon), and then decided to get rid of them on Amazon. The seller’s listings are on Amazon France, if that matters. One of them has 1 unit in stock and the other has none, I believe.
I then went and asked Seller Support, but they’ve been less than helpful, as per usual. I would ideally like to be able to create our own listing, so that we can name the product as we wish and include any product info that we want. Either way, the brand belongs to us anyway…
My question is: how can I list our products separately, under our account? Can I even do that at all? Or can I only add them as ‘alternatives’ to the other seller’s listings?

Is that when you put the EAN in the box ? If so, the listing is already using the correct EAN too
