Product Authenticity Complaints for 2 year old ASIN

Received Product Authenticity Complaints for the ASIN created in June 2021, the product was not that good in selling and only sold few since listed.

Amazon is asking me to provide invoice issued within 365 days and as this was only purchased once in 2021 - I cannot.

Okay I do understand its policy and all but this is clothing item without any expiry date or shelf life and not neccessary to replanish or remove every few months.

my feeling is take it on chin and move on - but wil appreciate if someone had similar thing and share experience.

just to update - this ASIN was reinstated and alert was removed at last. Frankly it was not easy but job done at last.

This ASIN was first created on 30 June 2021 and there was only one purchase was made for this product from supplier.

This ASIN was not selling good so had sent to FBA and most of the units were returned back to me to avoid long term storage fees. I kept continue selling them as FBM and recently converted back o FBA and sent inventory.

Invoice quantities and sold item numbers can be verified over the period.

At first. I sent an invoice and got reply, I need to provide letter of authotiy to prove that my supplier is authorised reseller. I provided that letter and now they are asking me to provide an invoice dated within last 365 days.

Here’s where I stuck - the item was purchased in the year 2021 and I can only provide you a legitimate invoice dated June 2021.

Going forward, I do not want to sell this product and deleted ASIN and called back products from FBA.

At the same time, I believe that my item was purchased from legal supplier and had provided all the required docs. I’ll PM you the docs provided and will appreciate if you can check them.

This item is not counterfiet and alert for counterfiet should be removed - please let me know your thoughts.

Yes.

— Supplier information (name, phone number, address, website)
– Buyer information (name, phone number, address, website)
– Item descriptions (for ease of our review, you may highlight or circle the ASINs under review)
– Item quantities

– Invoice date (must be issued in the last 365 days)

– Invoice date (must be issued in the last 365 days and before 13/07/2023

Unfortunately the invoice has all the details but no phone number - could tha be a reason?

If yes I can ask my supplier to ammend the invoice and add phone number but not sure thats the issue even.

And only other thing I can see is last 365 days.

To resolve your issues on the abovementioned violation, you will be needing to provide copies of invoices or receipts from your supplier for the ASINs in the question issued in the last 365 days. These documents should clearly show your sales volume over the last year, and must include your supplier’s business details, such as their business name, phone number, address, and website. While you may redact pricing information, the remainder of the document must be legible. To facilitate our review process, you may highlight or circle the ASINs that are under review.

Please be aware that Amazon only accept .pdf, .jpg, .png, or .gif files, and the documents must be authentic and unaltered.

We understand that these ASINs are non-performing items on your selling account and your decision to not sell them on the platform but it becomes imperative for our selling partners to appeal on the violations and resolve the issue in hand to ensure the safety of the account, preventing any risk of deactivation.

I’ll eally appreciate your inputes or suggestion on the matter and hope my last post was reached to you.

I believe I provided everything that was asked for and my products are authentic and I followed a proper supply chain, only unique thing in my case is the invoice is not dated within last 365 days and for that I explained why that is so more than once.

If amazon is never going to accept invoice older than 365 days, please let me know so that I can remove all the ASINs older than 365 days from my inventory and will only keep ASINs purchased in 365 days.

Also, the already submitted supplier’s invoice didnot have phone number mentioned on it? Can that be an issue?
