PPU on listings is missing

We sell liquid products that are according to German law must have PPU (price per unit), some of our listings have it and some don't, they all in right categories. Seller Support suggested to delete and recreate our listings that miss PPU. Is there a more elegant solution?

Hi @Seller_RX1rR7BUKBY1J,

There’s no need to delete your listings to resolve this issue. In the Flat Files, the relevant attributes for displaying the price per unit (PPU) are:

  • unit_count (total quantity in the package)
  • each_unit_count (quantity per unit, e.g., per bottle)
  • unit_count_type (e.g., milliliter for liquids)

For liquid products, unit_count_type would typically be "milliliter." If your listing includes multiple bottles, each_unit_count would represent the volume per bottle, and unit_count would reflect the total volume across all bottles. You can find detailed descriptions for these fields in the "Datendefinitionen" tab of the Flat File template. Search for "Grundpreis" to locate the relevant information.

While you can update these fields via the Flat File, it’s also possible to make adjustments through the web interface. However, I don’t have the exact field names for the web interface at hand right now. Let me know if you’d like further details or assistance with this.

Kind regards, Michael
