My Adult card Game can't be found on Amazon even if I type the ASIN or The Exact Title of it.
Hi everyone,
I’m hoping someone here might be able to shed some light on an issue that has been ongoing for a long time. My card game, Wobble Gob, has now been on Amazon for a month but is still not searchable — not by keywords, not by the ASIN, and not even by the exact product name. It only appears if you use the direct product link.
Over the past two years I’ve had quite a difficult journey as a small seller, and I’m trying to understand whether something in the account history is still blocking the listing from surfacing.
Here’s a brief timeline:
Nov 2023: I launched the game and it sold well with great reviews.
Dec 2023: It was featured in a national newspaper as a recommended Christmas game.
Jan 2024: I was diagnosed with cancer and spent several months in and out of hospital.
Mar 2024: My seller account was deactivated due to inactivity while I was undergoing treatment.
2024–2025: After many months, Amazon reactivated my account but it was assigned to the US marketplace globally instead of the UK. Amazon acknowledged this was an internal error.
2025: After extensive back-and-forth, I was told the fastest way to move forward was to create a completely new account. This unfortunately meant losing the reviews that had built up.
Oct 2025: New account finally live, zero reviews.
Mid-Oct 2025: I was told there may still be a conflict with the old US-assigned account, which I cannot access because it remains deactivated.
At present, the product still cannot be searched for. I also cannot advertise or run promotions because the system has placed my card game in an unrelated category (House & Garden → Kids). I’ve raised 17 support cases so far, and many of the replies have been repeat templates that don’t really address the underlying issue.
This game was my attempt to rebuild things after not being able to return to work due to illness, and I’m just trying to get it properly visible again so I can actually sell it. At the moment I’ve sold 6 copies in a month because nobody can find it organically.
If anyone has encountered anything similar, or has advice on what might be blocking search visibility, I would really appreciate any help or suggestions.
Thank you for reading,
Tony

Hello @Seller_Q0ifRobuSVOP9,
My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I would like to help wherever I am able. Thank you for all the detail and the link. I have done some initial research and I do see that the product is not coming through in search results with multiple combinations of words and your brand. Nothing sticks out as anything being "wrong," with the listing where it would be suppressed and it does look like the category issues has been fixed as I am seeing it in Toys and Games.
So, I want to dive deeper into this. Have you opened any support cases with Seller Support? If so, please include them here as I would like to review some of their initial steps so I can rule any of that out.
A few other questions to hopefully narrow down my investigation. Are you actively selling in any other countries on Amazon? If yes, which other countries do you have listings in and how is that search functionality (I will check also). If no, or not currently have you in the past? I am curious if maybe there is something sitting on a detail page in another country that may be affecting search or your ability to run ads.
Once I have a bit more info (case ID would be great) I can continue researching.
Best, Dougal

Unfortunately your link leads to a product page showing the seller of a recently dissolved company Nov 11th 2025. If the brand associated was not sold/transferred before that date, then that will also cause problems as it too becomes property of the crown (HMRC.)

Hi Dougal and thank you so much for your response. My product has been Unsearchable now for two months and I really can't get to the bottom of it. I am spending every day removing, altering, tweaking both text and images but as you know it takes a number of hours for things to filter through and to start showing on my page.
Firstly the "Toys and Games > Dedicated Card Games" issue has been fixed and that's a very good start for me. I'm obviously losing heaps of revenue especially on the run-up to Christmas.
To answer your questions.
1. I have raised 26 support tickets with Support, to no avail. All I have been getting is the same templated responses every time saying, they will not remove the "Adult Novelty Product" Classification without giving me rhyme or reason. My product is very similar to "Cards Against Humanity, Exploding Kittens etc" The big boys. I have even had to resort to Changing the packaging and removing anything Adult related which is a worry as at this point it is difficult to see from a glance that it is an adult product and don't want parents buying it for their children. I was advised to remove the word "Adult, Adult Party Game" and such like terms. But there are so many other products out there that have way worse words on. ie. There are lots of products that have the word F*** on display but without using asterisks or blurring etc. I've blurred all of the profanity on my cards which makes the game ridiculously hard to know what it is and how it works. It's ridiculous.
2. I am NOT selling in any other countries, just UK. Also have never in the past. In November 2023 I had the exact same product on without a single hitch. Using everything without removing profanity, blurring, pixelating and it was absolutely fine. In early 2024 deactivated my account as I got cancer and didn't log in for four months. When they reactivated my account they set it Globally to the US which meant I couldn't sell in the UK. It's taken me 18 months to get this sorted, they couldn't fix it and so advised me to start again. I've lost everything, my reviews, ratings, time and effort. It's taken me two years to get to this point and I still can't sell my game. I'm ready to just give in. It is meant to be my only source of income and i'm spending 7 days a week, 18 hrs a day trying to get this fixed with zero help from Amazon.
the thing i really need to fix is to remove the "Adult novelty product" classification. They are treating it like it's a Vib*****, or something like that when it's clearly not. This is my stumbling block. And they won't tell me what I need to do to fix it.
They have actually said now that that if I raise any more tickets surrounding this issue they will be actively Ignored which is horrific for me as I'm now at a dead end.
I'd just like to thank you in advance Dougal as you are my last hope.
Regards,
Tony

Hello @Seller_V5ak2PhIWIYKb,
Case ID 11776071932 does have a response from today that does show a screen shot of search results using the first 7 words from the product title. I tested this as well and your ASIN does come up first (After 3 sponsored products) today. I also tried a few variations of your product title like just your brand name and the word game and same, it is the first result after a few sponsored products.
What are you seeing on your end? anything different?

Hi Dougal,
Thank you for getting back to me and sorry for flagging it but I really needed to move fast. I finally got my game on Amazon with 3 months to go until Christmas. Now it's 3 weeks.
So, it is now searchable and i'm thrilled about that. But that only happened today. So that's done and dusted which is a relief.
When I search for "WobbleGob Card Game" or WobbleGob anything, it automatically changes it to "Wobblejob" With a "J" and doesn't show up anywhere. Even when I correct it and search again it does the same thing.
The other thing which is kind of connected is that it is still classified as a "Novelty Adult Product" which it definitely is not.
I have spent a week changing the packaging, changing all of the Life style images, Changing the Title, bullets, description, backend keywords. So that there isn't a single word or number anywhere that suggests it is Strictly for Adults and it is still classified as an Adult novelty product.

If you take a look at case ID's:
• 11772037162 (2 Dec 2025, 11:00 am)
• 11776071932 (2 Dec 2025, 7:53 pm) ***
• 11771649212 (2 Dec 2025, 7.09 pm) ***
The two highlighted Case ID's are within 35 minutes of each other and have two conflicting answers. The case response at 11:00am also says that it is still classified as "ADULT".
he response is along the lines of... The rules Blah Blah Blah state that if Naked, filthy, vulgar exists etc etc etc) but cannot, will not and Haven't told me what it is that is any of the above.
I've made sure, double and triple checked that there isn't a single offensive, adult or rude word anywhere to be seen. So firstly, where is this hidden Flag (PLEASE) and why can't they tell me what exactly is causing this suppression?
It's really important that I understand how it works as I desperately want to advertise and i'm very quickly running out of time.
Thanks for your support Dougal, you've been great but if you could look into this issue now please,
Bet,
Tony

Hello @Seller_V5ak2PhIWIYKb,
Are you selling in the US as well? The links provided by Seller Support in case ID 11772037162 were .com links and link to the US policy. Specifically the Adult products help page (that is a US link) that mentions examples of adult products include "Profane language" and products that are 18+ or 21+ or adult only.
Seller_V5ak2PhIWIYKb
Hi Dougal,
No, I'm not selling in the US. 10 weeks now and still not sorted
No profanity at all in the images or in any of the text. I'm about to just give up I think. I can't bare it any longer

Thank you for confirming.
I have escalated to another team using the information you have provided here as well as the current policies and definitions of products that fall under the adult classification.
I do not have an estimated time for how long this new escalation will take, but I will keep you updated as soon as I am able to and will reach out if this escalation team has any additional questions.
Best, Dougal

Hi Dougal,
Thanks for getting back. I've realised that what is suppressing my product is that all the other marketplaces. ie. US, .IT, .ES, .DE, .FR etc are showing different titles and bullets and keywords with profanity. The only one that is right is the UK one but I'm guessing there is contagion from the other marketplaces. I only want to sell in UK so I somehow need to cleanse the US and Europe one's. Why is this happening? It's caused me 3 months of loss and anxiety and not getting any help at all from Amazon.

Hello @Seller_V5ak2PhIWIYKb,
I actually received a response just this morning from my escalation with much more specific information.
The reason for the adult classification is an image that is not currently on the detail page.
It is the image that shows the back side of the cards and has several words blurred out and I noted that you removed this image on 11/19/25. I have provided this detail to my internal escalation for the team to review, again. For reference, the Adult products policies and Explicit sexual imagery guidelines does state:
- No profanity or sexually explicit language: The product, packaging or listing must not contain any form of profanity, sexually graphic, abusive, obscene, controversial or explicit language.
So having the words blurred out does indicate that these words are explicit.
I will provide another update on this as soon as the team re-reviews their decision with the additional information/date on when the image was removed.
I appreciate you patience.
Also, as far as the listing being available in other stores, these should be mirroring your UK listing exactly as you are the Brand Owner and ASIN creator, I did check the US listing and while it states "currently unavailable," and the images are the same as your UK listing, I do see what you are talking about with the bullet points. These should be the same across all stores since you are the brand owner. To address these now, you can just log into your US Seller Central account and either remove the ASIN or update it accordingly. For the rest of the EU stores, you can navigate to those specific stores from the "Manage International Listings," link on the Seller Central home page.
Please let me know if you have any issues with updating the listing in those stores and I will keep you posted on my escalation.
Best, Dougal
