Read onlyNow I know this subject has been covered in various forms, but I am wondering if there is any progress?
So we have an invoice in the 'Tax Document Library' for Seller Fees VAT for August, but VAT invoice for FBA Shipping fees.
Stupidly I contacted seller support who advised me that I should contact my tax agent for them to resolve, what a joke!
So has anybody got a VAT invoice for FBA fees for August? If so, where do we find it? If not how do we as a collective sort this out? Just the latest shambles from Amazon, a company so huge yet run worse than the local corner shop.
Thank you in advance for any help.
Yes, it is called "Fulfillment by Amazon Tax Invoice"
Yes, we received our August invoices, albeit not itemised.
Today we downloaded our September invoices (still not itemised) and the invoice totals do not reconcile with our records or what we report using the Reports Repository.
This discrepancy is for both seller fees and fulfilment fees. We've contacted seller support, still waiting for a response.
Being told the 15th before we will receive Augusts report.....
Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,
I understand that the invoice for August month has not yet been provided (Fulfillment by Amazon Tax Invoice) and you are asking us for help.
I want to inform you that the Merchant VAT Invoices (seller fees invoices) and Fulfillment by Amazon Tax Invoice for August month are not yet released due to some on going issue.
These invoices will be released by this week and you should be able to get the invoices by next weekend . Some invoice have been released but the detailed invoice will be released within 15 October, 2024.
In this case, i request you to have a little bit more patience.
Despite repeated attempts, still no progress in trying to get Amazon to prodcuce a UK VAT invoice for
Subsrciption,
Return Fees,
Disposal Fees,
Storeage Fees
No surpise mind - but the battle continues
Not to mention the pain in the a*se it is when it comes to entering into your accounts.
Since they have already taken the funds from you. It's not like having a tangible invoice which you pay and then declare the VAT element.
Ebay's just as bad.
Yeah I also contact them . They told me that even if you are tex exempt you wll be charged additional 20% vat on amazon fee and fulfillment fee . I could not got any solution for this, have you any idea?
It affects very badly on my prfit specially for those products whom prices are under 10. because when they charge on the fulfillment fee it auto matically lower the margin .
Ideally Amazon support send emails to all sellers explaining the issue and time scale for the resolution .
