VAT Registration Address
I’ve decided to register for VAT but I’m not sure what address should go on the VAT certificate.
I’m a sole trader selling from home but the business address on Amazon under my business Information is a box number. I’ve asked Amazon what address I should use but their reply was curt and they told me to ask a tax adviser. I’ve just come from my account’s office and he is the one setting this up for me. I know he should know but we’re talking about what Amazon want to see.

If there is no reason not to, have your VAT address match your registered business address.
Make sure you get mail regularly - if HMRC mail you with a request you should be prepared to respond promptly.
