My account is deactivated and required appeal
Hi, do anyone know how long will the Amazon verification team proceed my appeal? After I registered the account, it requested me to submit appeal with the following message:
- Confirm you have a valid credit card on file.
- Click the “Appeal” button next to this e-mail on the Notifications page in the Performance section of Seller Central (https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/gp/customer-experience/perf-notifications.html).
Therefore, I submitted the credit card information and credit card statement accordingly and then received their message to let us wait for their reply within 3 days regarding my appeal. However, it is nearly a week without their notification and reply. May I know usually how long will it take and what specific information do they require? And any problem with the other information, so that it can’t proceed? It only required valid credit card on file, do i need to submit any other extra information to push their verification process? I’m not sure what should I do except waiting under current situation.

Can anyone give me advice? My account is still under review and appeal status is the same…Will I get any notice and update from Amazon?

But Amazon has been charged my month selling plan fee (25GPB plus VAT) once I set up the account. So without being verified, I can just wait and let it keep charging my monthly account fee?

Hi,
I got the latest reply from Amazon UK which they required again the valid credit card on file. However, I have checked that my credit card do not have any problem and the billing address and name is matched with the statement one. Does anyone have ideas what happen and what is the exact file/document Amazon wants? It has been nearly a month but seems the issue is looping without knowing the cause. Will it related to the primary contact name and the credit card holder name? As my primary contact name is not the same as credit card holder name, but i’m not sure is it the reason affecting my verification, please advise, thanks so much.

I guess my issue is primary contact name and credit card name does not match. I am the primary contact, while my manager has the company credit card under his name. I do not have the option to change the primary contact name during the verification process.
So I explained the issue in the Appeal Letter and also submitted a credit card authorization letter. I also indicated in the letter that I am happy to change the primary contact name to my manager’s name for the 2 names to match.
But just half day later, I received the same email from 3 days ago with the exact same content in Chinese. The email replies from Amazon are totally not helpful at all, now I do not know what to do.
I read that I am not allowed to open another new seller account with the same business information, or else the new account will be banned as well… am I right?

Hi,
Anyone has experience in addressing this issue? I don’t know what should I hand in now as I have submitted the credit card statement again and I keep receiving the same message that request me to submit a valid credit card on file. Please see the screen cap below, it has already been more than a month but the the account is still under verification. Thanks if i can know more the possible reasons for this issue.

Sorry, but I have another question re your situation (as I am experiencing the same but I don’t know how long I should be waiting for, too…). So what is the FILE to provide a credit card is valid? Asking the bank to give a specific statement to confirm it?

What if I close my account and open a new account in this case? Seems my credit card cannot be approved with mismatch of name in seller central and the card holders’ name…However, I am not sure how to close my account since it is still in verification and can I open another new account using the same business name? It won’t have record if I can successfully close, right? And is it a must to close my account first before I open a new account? Thanks.

I have keep receiving the same message requesting a valid credit card on file which the name and business address of it must be the same as the name and address in seller portal. I have submitted my credit card statement many times and I’m not sure about the specific reason why my credit card is not valid. The only reason I can think of is the credit card name and my account name (primary contact person) under seller portal is not the same. Since the credit card is my company credit card that under my boss’s name while the seller name is in my name. I’m desperate in this situation as i have tried to submit appeal letter and credit card authorization letter to clarify this situation, but Amazon still gave me the same reply. Thanks for helping to answer my questions.
- Is it the reason that Amazon does not accept my credit card? (The credit card name is different with my account seller name)
- I cannot change my credit card name now as this is my company credit card, what should I do in this case?
- Is it possible to close my account and use my boss’s name to open a new account again? But it will also under the same company name, will Amazon accept?
- Even using my boss’s name to open a new account which under the same business name, the credit card holder’s name is still different from her account registration name since the credit card is using her nickname and primary contact person requires full name and passport to verify. So, will the same situation occur even if I try to open a new account?
- Since my account is still under verification, I cannot follow the steps on Amazon in closing account which the only way is I just can contact Support, but the support only reply me to submit appeal to verify my account and do not receive email. What should i do if closing account is the only option to start my business on Amazon?

Hi,
Without verifying my account due to the invalid credit card they stated, now they requested another document which is the Article of Associations with the share allotment. Is it related to the invalid credit card? Or it is a totally unrelated which is their another required document? Actually I have submitted the company certificate last week, but it replied me with the following message. I have no idea what to submit and to do regarding their request no matter on credit card or below. Can anyone advise me? Thanks a lot.
