Trying to open an account in the US

Hello everyone, I am a brand new seller with one product currently for sale in the UK marketplace. I felt that the demand v competition was better on in the USA so I decided to set up an account. I followed the instructions, uploaded my passport and the latest CC statement and got a reply back to tell me
"Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,
I’ve reviewed your email and understand that you would like to know whether the documents can be verified for account registration process. I will check and help you with this.
I’m sorry to hear that your seller identity verification was failed
Please be informed that, our review process is proprietary, and we are unable to disclose specific reasons why your registration to sell on Amazon was denied. Please refer to the email that was sent to you for more details, including any options available to you.
If you still would like sell on Amazon, you can create new account with the new e-mail address. "

My documents were fine, all in date and perfectly readable. I have escalated this to an email address I found on line mri-csf-siv@amazon.com do understand 1. why this happened , I am a retired law enforcement officer so there is no criminal record, all the documents were fine, no I do not have a bricks and mortar store I only want to sell on Amazon and Ebay. I do not want to create a new account with a new email address I just want to get this fixed. There was also NO email attached showing my options.

Does anyone have any advice ? I have to say I am really disappointed in Amazon’s responses and ability to contact them only by email in the US

Please note that the majority of sellers who are now attempting to register and start selling on the Amazon USA site are having their accounts suspended immediately following registration.

Amazon USA is now very strict when approving new sellers to sell on their site. What triggers this kind of suspensions are the documents and information, which you provided at registration and during verification.

They don’t like pre-paid cards, online payment service provider’s bank statements, off-shore companies with virtual offices, businesses which appear to be set up only to sell on Amazon.

Also, one of the most common mistakes which sellers make is submitting screenshots. Photos of your actual documents in a paper form will work the best, according to my own experience.

So please make sure that everything what you submitted by now is 100% correct and as soon as you find any discrepancies, correct them or resubmit the particular documents to Amazon.

In addition, if you posted here the communication which you received from Amazon USA rejecting your registration, it would help.

Hi kika ,

Thanks for replying , please see their resose in quotation marks in mt post above, everything should have been ok, I am not a Virtual office, off shore company, all documents were clear and concise.

They have NOT given me the reason who or the chance to correct anything, nor can they be reached by telephone, i am still waiting on them answering my last email
