I don't understand what is "Regex ID" and how to use Shiptrack instead of simply selecting carrier

Hello,

Can someone, anyone explain to me what is needed from me? I am FBM, selling here for around 10 years but it's a first time I have encountered such big issue that I don't even understand what is being written.. It's probably because these things need some API stuff and I am no programmer... I can't find answers anywhere what Amazon wants from me and they don't explain:

As per our internal team, the tracking ID is not matched with Lasership / Cainiao Shiptrack Regex, so Amazon will not capture any tracking status. This issue is not caused by Amazon or Lasership or Cainiao, kindly input correct regex tracking ID in Amazon system. - what is correct regex tracking ID? I have only one tracking given by the shipping agent, as it was for 10 years..

Shiptrack integration is per Regex ID per Carrier per Marketplace level. The provided tracking ID is not integrated Regex of Lasership or Cainiao with Amazon, so Amazon will not call Lasership or Cainiao API to get tracking events. It is regardless of whether this tracking belong to LASERSHIP / CAINIAO or not. - what Shiptrack integration? I don't use any Shiptrac, is that an app that sellers must use on Amazon? or is it some page that can give you this magical "correct tracking ID" that will be accepted by Amazon??

In future, kindly connect with the carrier and only use tracking ID following regex as approved by Lasership and Cainiao. - I don't understand. Everytracking I receive and provide for Amazon, is approved and being fluently tracked everywhere except Amazon. or not?

Hi @Seller_PNwUQLkqFLu1F, did you use a ShipTrack carrier? Regex means regular expression and can be used in the API to verify tracking information.

I see that you have been working with Emet in another thread. I will close this one and have you follow up there for more information. Thank you!
