How to change the listing from Manufacturer Bar Code to Amazon Barcode?

Hi All,

Please can someone suggest me? @The_Little_Shop @Smiley_Guy

I have listed a product using Manufacturer Barcode (Commingling)

I have 10 units left in my inventory with Amazon and plan to send more inventory soon.

Due to some bad experiences using manufacturer bar code I plan to change it to Amazon Bar code apply the FNSKU labels and then make the shipment plan.

Any idea how it can be done?

Also are there any benefits of Commigling ( Using manufacturer bar code)

Thanks in advance.

I have only done it once and the only way I could do it was to create a new SKU for the ASIN. I couldn’t find anyway of updating the SKU so that it had a FNSKU label rather than a manufacturers barcode.

The benefit to commingling is for Amazon as they are not limited to which sellers product they send out if there are multiple sellers selling the same product. Obviously for the seller it cuts down on their preparation time as they don’t need to label the products.

For a seller there are big disadvantages of commingling. If there are multiple seller selling the same product a customer may get one of your competitors product. You have no idea if that product is actually the same product, how it is packed and what condition it is in. This can lead to a customer complaining about the product when it is not your fault.
