Recently a buyer said that he did not receive the shipment of books sent by us. The dhl tracking shows delivered to the exact address. It is also signed by one person named '…", but this person’s name is not same as the person to whom the shipment was addressed.

Though we have refunded the buyer, I want to know for future purpose, if the buyer had gone for a to z claim, will amazon accept the signature of receipt by third person as the proof of delivery or not?

Because if we instruct carrier to deliver to the exact person with signature, there are some issues like person not being at home and not preferring to take the delivery in person due to covid. It delays the delivery.
