Credit card invalid?

I’ve had an email this morning saying the credit card on file is invalid but it isn’t and has been used since I opened my seller account . This comes off the back of yesterday when orders were coming through on email but not showing on seller central . Has Amazon been hacked ? Everything is up to date and valid now it’s asking for a new card or to contact my bank.

Yes it seems so. I think because of what was happening yesterday with orders coming through on email but not showing on the computer I was just worried they had been hacked or something.

The card is valid and I rang the bank this morning and everything is fine so not sure what I can do. I read somewhere that it can take 4 days to update . So what happens with all my metrics if I can’t dispatch orders .

Do I just re enter the same card details again which I have actually done and after I did Amazon took a pound from my bank.

Do I just wait now. Seller central just said to contact my bank and update card details . No real help.

I had same issue, if you have a personal credit card, just put that in, until you figure out the issue with the other card . As long as you have a positive balance to cover selling fees, your card will not be charged.

If the bank account linked to this card has a negative or VERY low balance, when you do a disbursement Amazon do a preauth charge, if this fails, it thinks your card is invalid.

It hasn’t got a negative balance or anywhere near it. I rang the bank yesterday and they didn’t say anything was wrong .

I’m with starling bank they said everything was fine. Just did a Google search for master card I could only find things to do with Russia blocking certain things. I didn’t mean to seem short on my previous reply . I’m just lost and don’t really know what to do. Very worrying . My metrics are already going to be effected . There is sufficient funds for payments . I don’t have any personal credit cards and only one business bank card. Could an Amazon moderator please help.

I was thinking that , but my current one would be invalid , my orders have still been coming through , even if it takes 3 working days my account metrics would be horrific and probably lead to an account suspension. I have seen someone else start a new thread having the same problem

Just bought some thermal labels off Amazon (needed them) , transaction went through. I’m baffled , not what you want to be doing all weekend . Worrying about something you don’t know how to fix and appears doesn’t need fixing .
