Read onlyI’m trying to show a sale price on my listing that has the original price crossed out. When I’ve done this using the ‘sale price’ option in my listing settings, the price shown on my listing is the sale price only. This gives the impression that the sale price is the original price of the product as the previous price isn’t shown anywhere. Does anyone know how I get to show a sale price on my listing that has the original price crossed out?

Have you tried to set a Recommended Retail Price for the product you want to promote?
Please check Show a reference price on your products for additional information.
Hope this helps.
Hi,
Simply setting a regular price alongside a special price isn’t enough to get the crossed-out (discounted) price to display. This used to work in the past, but it seems some sellers misused the feature to create the appearance of steep discounts. Now, as I understand it, there needs to be a certain number of orders at the higher, regular price to verify that it’s a legitimate reference price rather than an artificially inflated one.
Hope this helps!
Best, Michael
Hello! @A3B5VA3JT1RV7F
This is Roberto. Thank you for using the forums, I wanted to highlight the response provided by @Seller_i6S8knzW6zU6Z, in order for the listing to show a crossed out (strike through) price, it needs to be validated against our Amazon Policy on Reference Prices.
If we determine that displaying the price cross out may be misleading to customers, this can be removed at any time. If you still have questions on this topic, you may reach out to our Seller Support team.
