Massive orders placed by buyers in bad faith

Yesterday at about 11.42 pm, I was refreshing the table in the Swedish station, and I accidentally wrote the price of four of my products from 7,749.99 to 679.99; all of a sudden, it dropped more than ten times; I don't know why the system didn't have a warning that the price was too low; and then during my lunch break a customer found this link; leading to a crazy order by this customer, a few seconds a piece, and in a short period of time, he placed a total of 38 orders, involving 71 products and 4 ASINs;

Please help me, because the value of these products is too high, involving 380,000 goods value, I really do not know what to do; I asked a lot of many customer service and do the Amazon counterparts, but there is no way to help me cancel these malicious orders; can you help me look at it?

assuming these are FBA orders you will not be able to cancel the orders.

You need to contact Amazon as soon as possible and explain the price mistake.

Below is what I found on consumer advisory UK, looking for Amazon policy for pricing error:

"Amazon’s price mistake policy states that they are not obliged to honour any pricing mistakes that are made on their website. This includes mistakes made by Amazon, as well as mistakes made by sellers."

I have not checked above myself on Amazon's terms and condition.

I would highly recommend you to contact Amazon asap as we are talking about some serious money here!

Putting aside the high value situation, it is my experience from having made a typing error in the past, that you are not covered in any way in this situation. The onus is on you to have it correct. If it's FBM, (you ship to buyers) I think you will have to cancel everything and ride out the metrics storm, and hope that your account doesn't get closed. You can write to the correct department about this, see if they can put a note. However, their primary concern is to keep the buyers happy and you are giving the buyer a "bad experience" in their eyes. We know it was an innocent carelessness but they don't always see it like that.

If it's FBA, I cannot advise, others know better and one said above that you can't cancel it.

You may need to try to write the most polite message to the buyer, assuming they are trade also, and hope they will have some sense of right, and cancel from their end. The most honest buyers also see a mistaken price and think only Amazon will lose out, and they can afford absolutely everything that could possibly occur, and that it will all process through without anyone noticing.

Explain you are a small company and this obviously needs rectifying, ask what they say, see how the land lies in their mind..... if they turn around and say "no, it's your problem" then you know where you stand.

It may not be the smartest idea, but if it is FBA, and the customer will not cancel from their end, for that amount, I would personally go to the FC and try to speak to someone in person (manager?) before they ship orders.

As far as I know you have the write to refuse a sale or to sell to a customer.

That is certainly the case for FBM but not when it comes to FBA where it's all out of your control.

Set a minimum price on your listings to prevent this from happening again.
