Product becomes Gated after Listing the Item
I am facing some problems these days. When I list a product then it is Ungated( I can sell this). But after Listing it becomes Gated( Apply to sell). When i apply for approval then it shows that "Your account does not qualify".
Its' totally unfair. I am facing loss on my products. I am very very disappointed.
If anyone knows it's solution please share knowledge & tips here.

Your solution is to source properly AND have written permission from the BRAND to sell anything that you want to sell on Amazon.
The wild west days are done and a large part is due to Congress stripping any perceived protections from ALL websites for the sale of stolen and/or counterfeit items.
More and more brands are taking control of their own destiny on here. Unless you are authorized by the publishers or brands many sellers are being blocked entirely.
Amazon has allowed the site to be invaded by countless thousands of unauthorized sellers over the past couple decades. Amazon, to excise the disease (unauthorized sellers), is simply killing all the sellers other than whoever the BRANDS are going to favor with letters of authorization.
Those restrictions will include both RA, Gray market sales, and even used sales in the future because there is no proof of authenticity or chain of custody for either version of those sales models.
Amazon is cleaning house and a lot of people selling currently are likely to be swept out the door going forward.
Here are the NEW rules for selling on the ‘new and improved’ Amazon. Only you can tell us if you meet the requirements. If they are rejecting your "invoices" my guess is that you do not.
The first question is -- Are you authorized IN WRITING by the BRAND to sell their items on Amazon? That means from the BRAND, not some random wholesale source that can NOT authorize anything – they only SELL.
More and more brands have provided a "whitelist" of their approved sellers and if YOU are NOT on the list you will be stopped in your tracks and probably hit with an IP violation.
The second (and probably more important) question is -- Where are you sourcing your products? Are you buying direct from the brand or through an AUTHORIZED wholesale source?
Have you verified with the BRAND that your distributor IS an authorized wholesale distributor for ALL of their products. Some wholesalers are only allowed to distribute portions of a product line.
NOTE – FOR 'GATED' CATEGORIES' DOING RA IS NOT PERMITTED ON AMAZON. PERIOD. If you have to 'apply to sell' you WILL need an INVOICE from an AUTHORIZED distributor and not a receipt.

There is no 'FIX'. When you list items, Amazon assumes you have brand approval and LOA's before you onboard with their platform.
However, they quickly can find out that you are selling items sourced from non-authorized distribution facilities without direct approval from the brand; hence why you are told your account does not qualify. Its totally fair, and unfortunately its on you for not following Amazon's strict guidelines to sourcing.

Amazon claims they have the right to sell my products as used without my brands permission. Try selling them as used if you can and then get out of the products. It is never worth the fight and I stopped selling anything other than my own products because even some manufacturers do not understand who they gave the right to control brand registry to. I had to have a manufacturer request a violation retraction from their client because they gave their client the right to control the brand on Amazon without understanding how it worked.

in which catagory youre product is listed . check if its gated or not . if its not and your product is . you might have put some keywords which their autobots have picket up , and thought its a gated product . for example , natural organic , anti allergic something related to babies etc .
you have to elimnate those keywords . edit and save , may sometime restore the listing . to know exactly please share the msg on account health performance section under policy violation . then we migh b able to know . whats wrong with the product . also share product catagory .

it is time to go back and sell on eBay . they are not flooded with sellers from overseas like amazon and Walmart. less traffic but less headache and fair for both sellers and buyer. amazon are trashing sellers because they compete with them.
