OTP Issue - "Please wait one minute before requesting another OTP code."

Hi there,

Every time I try to log into my account on Amazon, I am asked for an OTP code despite ticking the box that says “Do not require an OTP code for this browser.” Also, whenever I put the OTP code in, after about 10 minutes, I’m asked for another code. When I try to get it, it says “Please wait one minute.” After an hour, it still says this. I have to wait for a day or so in order for this to go away. What do I do?

We have the same issue but strangely only in the afternoon. The best way around it is to set up an authenticator app and then when it wont send the code select the option to enter the code of the authenticator app and you can get straight on.

Hello Sellers,

I am sharing an update on the OTP issue:

Our team is urgently investigating issues with signing into Seller Central using the one-time password (OTP) feature and working on finding a solution.

The OTP code can take up to one minute to arrive on your device. We recommend that you wait at least a minute before you click Send OTP a second time.

We'll confirm when the issue has been resolved.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Kind regards,

Julia.
