Challenge 1 - Amazon adding in irrelevant data using AI that you then can't remove.

Example - labelling all our manual fret saws as being Electric.

Challenge 2 - Other Sellers Somehow changing images and pack sizes and amazon has no means to notify of changes

Which elements have had the biggest impact: In which areas have you seen sales increases after listing changes?

If you can - sort the images out - customers look at images but don't necessarily read. Of course, getting images changed is often easier said than done.

How about allowing non brand owners to correct obvious mistakes in the original ad. Many of the brand owners are no longer on Amazon.

Below we have an example someone has named the title which you search by as

Patterns byAnnie, light Blue

Brand name is made up Patterns ByAnnies the brand should be ByAnnies so unless i am patterns byannies (which probably gave up on amazon as their adverts weere that bad they did not sell) I cannot make changes to this even when chatting with ss as they wont actually look at anything just repeat the mantra you cant change it ask the brand owner.

The title should be "Zip it up PBA 252 made by ByAnnies"

Solution. Employ someone that sellers can talk to to resolve these problems SS is not fit for purpose in these cases. Have someone with authority to change obvious errors post in the forums so genuine sellers can contact them with an asin they want looked at. Should take no more than 15 min per enquiry 4 per hour thats 30 solved in a working day. 1 person has a job for life. 100 people would be gainfully employed for the near future. Amazon gets more sales because people can find what they are looking for sellers get more sales so moan less. Customers find what they are looking for not some random sheite that the ai algorythm shows them

I have been trying to list some of my 3000 products on Amazon as a new seller for 4 days now. I have found the support staff completely incompetent, and the catalogue information to be gibberish.

I now just want to close the account and be refunded, I cannot waste any more time with this platform, its pointless

Allow us to actually edit our listings.

Don't change information on our listings when you are using AI to predict things which are WRONG. and then SS is unable to change these changes. Spent the last 2 months editing listings which Amazon have changed, and split. So frustrating and a waste of my time.

how? you removed the tools needed to make edits you removed the tools to list it has become impossible to do basic functions

Hundreds of products suppressed as they have no colour attribute and no one has permission to add colour

I have one product that you gave total control to a random seller who put in misinformation I have been in contact with what you call support from October and today I am further away from getting it resolved than I was 6 months ago

Hundreds more goods blocked as your BR cannot tell the difference between different brands

More goods blocked as different Amazon depts demand information that contradicts each other is one dept demands that the brand name has to match GS1 which for soccer related items is the manufacturer name not the brand name so if you put in the name to comply with GS1 then brand registry removes product as the brand name does not comply if we then try to use the correct brand name it is then removed by GS1 if we then try and list as compatiable with under generic we get a violation and product again is removed. To further complicate this mess instead of their being one brand name when seller soccer related items according to brand registry they have multiple variations of brand name which again leads to violations as Amazon bots run riot ie Manchester City MCFC Manchester City FC Manchester City F.C. M.C.F.C. that is just a few there are many more variations leaving it impossible to even list products anymore a normal site has one brand name per brand not multiple variations

We receive AI generated suggested to changes to our listings - title only thus far.

All are garbage/nonsensical changes AKA all wrong...

But to be fair we can reject the change, so at least we have some power. Personally I think it would be easier to leave us in charge of our own branded listing. Less work to reject changes that are incorrect and not helpful.

What is even less helpful is when AI makes a change to a listing which is just plain wrong and misleading to the customer. We have had to go to brand registered support via SS - It normally takes 3 days and around 20 emails to get past the moronic responses form SS before we get to back end support. The first response is always we cannot edit your listing you need to XYZ - until we point out its Amazons catalogue, not ours and its not an attribute we can edit regardless.

Then 3 months later the same rubbish reappears on the listing and off we go again. lol

Why is their nobody that can actually help on Amazon? Seller support can do nothing because the teams that look after the catalogue do not talk to seller support or seller performance and the catalogue team is a misnomer and does probably not even exist, if they did they would certainly be reprimanded for their performance.

Even if you pay £1500 a month for an account Manager all they do is sell you add on's such as advertising and FBA and Prime Deals, they will not help in any way to resolve issues or catalogue errors.

So who in Amazon actually cares about all these millions of incorrect listings, sometimes created by entities that no longer exist and there is absolutely no path to prove to anyone that a listing is incorrect and supply the correct details to amend the listing.

I have been in business for nearly 50 years and I have never in my entire life come across a company that cares so little about their image and their reputation that they would knowingly allow millions of product listings to contain errors that nobody has the responsibility to fix and are content with that situation.
