Sending product to amazon by UPS (UK)
Hello all,
I have just created my first shipping plan for first private label to amazon (i need a drink or 10!)
question is:
I have created the shipping plan and gone with amazons approved shipping partner UPS, it then asked me to call UPS to arrange pick up, so far so good. Question is do i not now need to let amazon know its coming in to them? i had heard that you need to get a time slot for the driver or they wont accept. But when creating the shipping plan there is no note of doing this?
Thanks in advance

All you have to do is arrange the collection with UPS. They deliver 1000s of parcels a day to Amazon and know what to do.
When the shipment is collected, you can go back to the shipment and mark it as shipped but this is not obligatory. I always do to ensure I know what is heading their way.

A said above, UPS handle all the hard work.
Create an account on the UPS site and you can request collections online, easier than doing via Phone.
Think it’s called “Schedule a Collection”.

If it’s small enough you can also just drop it to your local drop off point at your own convenience.

You only need to book a time slot when sending in pallets.
Either phone UPS or go onto their website and “Schedule a Pickup”.

Go to https://www.ups.com/gb/en/Home.page
Click “Shipping” at the top of the page, then select “Schedule a Collection” and complete the form.
The only timings you put in are when you’d like the boxes collected

As said above, just go to UPS and “Schedule a Pickup”
Also, don’t forget to use the tracking code which you got in your FBA shipment postage label (which you put on the box) and enter it on UPS website. It will give you free collection otherwise you will have to pay a quid or two for pickup.
