Account reserve of £21000

Hi

I have total balance of £24300 in my account but still able to pay out only £3148. So amazon kept more than £21k as a reserve. When we check Account reserve level its only £594.60. We have raised case with seller support but it was general robotic answer we got. Our account is more than 3 yeas old and fully verified. Our more than 80% sell is via FBA.
I understand amazon keep some reserve for return, refund and other charges but £21K for that is too much. On the other side they are offering pre-approved loan to grow our business. we have attached screen shot for the reference. Please help you anyone had similar issue and have any solution for this.

£20k does seem like a rather large rolling total when they are only paying out £6k a fortnight, specially with FBA…

Hope you get it sorted - keep us up to date!

It seems like the available proceeds are in line with your sales - allowing for estimated delivery dates. Are you FBA or FBM?

You’ve had 14k in sales in the past few days? and just been transferred over £6k

How long are sales taking in effect to be released? Is it around 14-21 days?

It does not seem like Account Level Reserve.

You have made sales of circa 23K in last 2 days or so and this amount will remain as Reserved until at least 14 days from the date of order so you are looking at about 5Oct but if you are doing daily disbursements, you will get paid for the sales amount (minus fees) you made on or around 8th September if you withdraw today on 22nd Sept.

Have any of your selling products been recalled in the past year?
If so - amzn might be holding back money from those sales in case of any claims?

The reserve is based on funds being held for 14 days after the last day of estimated delivery, so effectively they hold approx 18 days. This being the case then if your sales are approx 35k per month then it is correct that the reserve would be at about 20k.

The figure showing of 594.60 is what the reserve will be on the scheduled disbursement date set which is showing as 03/10 - this figure is not correct if you disburse before that it will be much more, hence as you say they will only release 3k if you disburse today.

The amount will always tally with your 17-18 days of sales, no matter what your turnover - we have seen our reserve hit 100k at times, it is just something that you have to live with selling on Amazon, you know the money is secure and will be released on the dates they give.

It all looks correct to me.
The higher your sales, the higher the amount held.

That will be because you are asking for the disbursements before hand.
Every time you ask for a disbursement to be paid it resets. So the ‘automatic’ disbursement payment will be shown to be paid out in another 2 weeks.
If you do not ask for any disbursements between now and the 3rd Oct, they will pay you the £23k but by then there will be another amount being held back.

Your balance will only be £0 about 14-21 days after your last sale. (Either when closing your account or going on extended holiday longer than 3 weeks)

to be completely honest, if you are trading fairly there is no problem. I worked on the principle that following the start of my Amazon journey, I did not get any money for 4 weeks, from that point onwards I get payments every 2 weeks which helps my cash flow, but I don’t have an issue with Amazon holding 2 weeks of sales on their account, they have many faults but the sales are regular and payments are made regularly by Amazon
