Read onlyHi there! I am a small business that makes and sells handmade items. I am a bit worried about the new GPSR regulations and updating my listings; do I have change my listing as well as the physical product sent out?
I only currently sell to the UK and NI. I am worried that changing all my listings and items might be too much hassle for me. Is it possible to stop selling to Northern Ireland for both MFN and FBA and how do I do this? Also, are the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and British Forces overseas addresses (BFPO) included in these new regulations? Thanks for any help!
The EU rules themselves state that you would need to make changes if the product is being made available to the Northern Ireland market.
Amazon however state that you do not need to provide any information if listing for sale on Amazon UK.
For FBM, you can choose to stop selling to Northern Ireland, if you are on the Professional selling plan. Just untick the region on your Shipping Templates. You can'd do anything about FBA though.
Jersey and Guernsey are not included regions for these regulations.
I dont think Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man are included in these new regulations,
just EU and as a direct result NI
It should be editable on the shipping template to block NI (BT postcodes) for this reason
the interface is a little clunky on the edit shipping templates - but it seems it is possible to remove NI from there.
