Unfulfillable Customer Damage

Hi there.

Just read a bit on the forum about this issue - I have unfulfillable inventory (just one item). Reason for this is ‘customer damage’.

Read that i need to create a removal order as Amazon won’t refund even though it’s customer damaged.

So, i have to front the bill for the removal?
All seems a bit conflicting.

Thanks for guidance/direction.

This doesn’t necessarily mean the product is damaged, it just means that they can’t put it back in your inventory as is.

There is a setting you can enable if you want Amazon to “refurbish” items for you to make them saleable, eg repack them. I have that enabled and it reduces this issue.

Yes, you have to do a removal at 60p/£1 or you will be paying for storage. I have automated weekly removals enabled on my account.

You will find that much of the time, you will be able to repack and send it back next time.
