Geting gated after being ungated

Hi everyone!

I just listed my first product a couple of days ago, and it was supposed to be sent to Amazon warehouse, but today when I checked my listing it said that now I need approval to list this brand (I was ofcourse ungated before that, otherwise I wouldn´t be able to list the product).

I requested approval three times, and every single time it was denied immediately, not even a minut after I sent my invoice, which means they haven´t even looked at it.

Has anyone had similar experience?

"Has anyone had similar experience? "

There are DOZENS of threads about that issue.

You are confusing AMAZON allowing you to list (or at least "ungate") an item or category and actually being APPROVED to sell a product. Amazon may have ungated you for a CATEGORY but there can be 100's of brands in the category and they ALL have their own restrictions.

AMAZON is only interested in FEES. They will allow a chimpanzee to list if it means they collect $$$$$.

You really need to go study Seller U instead of TikTok and YouTube before your account gets kicked to the curb permanently.

Start at the TOP of this list and work your way down.

DO YOU have an LOA from the brand allowing you to sell on here?

DID YOU source from AUTHORIZED wholesale sources that your rep at the brand says are OK.

NOTE the verification from the brand that the source is legitimate and authorized, NOT one of those touted on TikTok and YouTube as having "thousands of brands and products".

If you have watched any YouTube or TikTok videos FORGET everything you saw there.

Understand that under the NEW RULES if your items had been received by Amazon for FBA your inventory and all your money would have been seized by Amazon at this point!

Greetings @Seller_HEKzYSfIiU8bL,

Thank you for reaching out with your concerns with this brand you are requesting approval to list. I have reviewed your case and I can confirm that your application and invoice have been reviewed in full. In general Amazon won't provide details on why you were or were not accepted but I would recommend you review the invoice with the Brand and the Supplier to determine why it might not have been accepted. You can learn more about what Amazon expects from invoices on the Invoice Requirements help page.

Thank you for your understanding.

-Glenn
