Read onlyI have registered Ltd company under virtual address, however Amazon is asking to provide an utility bill. I tried to explain multiple times to them over the appeal and phone, but they are not understanding this. They want Utility bill to verify the address.
I have provided Utility bill of my home address, but they said it needs to be utility bill from business address and they are not willing to understand that it is from a virtual address.
Can please anyone help?
Amazon don’t like or seem to acknowledge virtual addresses- with some justification due to not being able to verify them as you have discovered.
virtual addresses cannot supply a utility bill by the very nature of being virtual and not actual addresses.
Over 150,000 businesses at the same address as yours on Companies House. It must be a bit crowded. You can see why Amazon cannot accept virtual offices, as many of these businesses may well be evading paying VAT, etc.
Are you resident in the U.K. and the company physically operating from the U.K. ? If so, you might need to change your registered address to where you receive and dispatch your products, paperwork, do your admin, etc.
How did you get on with this?
Do you have a bank account for your Ltd company? Which uses the virtual address? Maybe you could try submitting a bank statement?
Hey there @Seller_PNUcQjmRSZt0T,
Any updates on this issue?
