Private seller in UK (no VAT), selling my unwanted items to EU buyers
I have been selling my unwanted CD, DVDs, legos, books, you name it, on Amazon for more than 10 years. After Brexit, if I sell to a EU buyer, I go to the Post Office, pay the postage and fill and sign a CN 22 Custom Declaration stickers.
Can I continue to do so from July 1st, 2021?
I am asking because…
“From 1 July, and in line with new legislation, eBay will collect VAT on all goods which are sold through eBay and shipped to buyers in the European Union (EU) with a consignment value up to EUR150. eBay will collect VAT on all sales to private individuals, regardless of seller status. eBay will declare the VAT collected under our Import One Stop Shop (IOSS) number.”
is this going to affect in the same manner my modest selling on Amazon.co.uk?
Any help would be really really appreciated!

Yes, if items are below €150 you just need to make sure amazons IOSS number is on the order

understood. What if the item is more than 150 euros? Say, a collectable unopened rare Lego box…

Selling your “unwanted” items for 10 years, such as a “collectable unopened rare Lego box”
