FBM random change to 'Ship by date' and 'Estimated delivery'

Hello,

I would appreciate any help with the following as Amazon don’t seem to be doing anything about it;

Since starting on Amazon we have always had 1-2 days to get an order dispatched, in shipping settings our ‘Default Handling Time’ is 2 days. Our ‘shipping template’ is currently showing as 1-2 days for East Midlands (this is where we are based) and 2-3 days for everywhere else. We ship via Royal Mail 24 and use Click and Drop. If a customer places an order today (Friday 11th) the latest we should ship is Tuesday (15th) and the latest this should arrive with a customer in the East midlands is Thursday (17th).

About 2 weeks ago we had a late dispatch warning on our seller central hub saying our percentage had gone up to 11%. On further inspection we noticed that our dispatch time had been reduced to 1 day (although it still says default 2 on shipping template) and a bunch of our orders had been dispatched late. We also noticed that the estimated delivery had been cut to 1 day (even though our shipping template is as mentioned above).

So now if a customer orders today (Friday 11th) we have to dispatched on Monday (14th) and the customer is expecting it Tuesday (15th). This is causing us no end of headaches as we can’t guarantee these times. Example ASIN B07Z92BMT3

We have had a ticket open without a proper response for well over a week now. If we chase it we just get an automated response. Has anyone else had a similar issue? If so did you find a fix? Could I have missed something obvious? Any help would be great.

Thanks in advance

I see edd time as 16th to 18th however, there is a premium shipping delivery option for me to receive it on Monday

There were another couple of sellers last week stating the same issue on their standard orders

Another example of things being weird

We have had an order this morning for B07H38RV56 on the Manage order screen it is showing;

Standard
Ship by date: 14 Feb 2022 to 15 Feb 2022
Deliver by date: 16 Feb 2022 to 18 Feb 2022

We had another order for B086Q26FM7

Standard
Ship by date: 14 Feb 2022
Deliver by date: 16 Feb 2022 to 17 Feb 2022

Both of these listings have exactly the same shipping template, and production time. Yet on one we get the 1-2 days that we have always had, the other the new 1 day.

Is the 2nd one an East Mids order?

I think some orders depend on how long they have been pending. Ive had some orders drop into our to be shipped list even after working hours and said it should have been shipped that day.

I have had the exact same thing!

All my items have been changed to 1 day dispatch… and I have NOT changed anything!

Amazon keep saying I must have done it… I did not

This happened to us on Wednesday 9th Feb.
Our handling time is usually set at 2 days wierdly on some (not all) products the handling time changed to 1 day.
Contacted SS - they said when listing does not have a handling time then it follows the default.
Our default is set at 2 days.
According to SS - we must have changed it.

At last i have had some success.
I have sent numerous messages through SS with little or no help.

The message i sent through SS with CC to MD@amazon.co.uk

I have again checked ASIN : B09LJ4S42K and again the handling time is back to 1 day.
I have set this to 2 days on this and numerous occasions.
I have AGAIN manually changed the handling time back to 2 days.
The problem is within Amazons’ system.
I have noticed this problem occur on more products and i am worried Amazons’ system is causing problems for my business.
Already i have been penalised for 5 LATE DESPATCH RATE (15%) when in the last year this is and has always been at 0%.
Orders have slowed since the LATE DESPATCH RATE as well.
Please understand this problem is being caused by some glitch within Amazons system that changes the handling time. As i have stated before this has happened to other sellers (check the forum).
I have given enough notice and am tired of wasting my time to constantly explain the situation.
If i receive another unfair Late Despatch Rate i will defend and give this as evidence that Amazon did not sort the issue out.

in the screenshots you can see i have 5 out of 28 “late” on the report (18%) 10 day report

However this issue has not been solved by Amazon and products’ handling time are still changing.
I beleive Amazon are aware of an issue caused by themselves.
