Returns From Italy - Where do we stand?
Got a customer who wants to return and item from Northern Italy, oh and it happens to be a face mask ! Before anyone asks it is not a cheap paper one it has filters in it and cost about £40 otherwise I would just take the hit. Surely though we cannot be expected to take something like this back for very obvious and serious health consequences.
Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing ? Not sure if the customer genuinely wants to return it or are they just hoping we will say, keep it and here’s your money back !

I’d ask them to confirm that it is unopened and still in the plastic packaging and to send a photo showing that before you agree to the return. If its a chancer then you probably wont hear back, if they do confirm that its unopened and you can see its unopened in the photo then you’ve either got the option of asking them to return and personally i’d just bin it when it arrived or just refund and tell them to dispose of it.
