UPS Schedule a Collection not working
I’ve been trying to schedule a collection for some stock but cannot get past the the page where you enter your information. I’ve scheduled a collection numerous times in the past but something seems to be up.
Is this service down at the moment or am I doing something wrong?

UPS collection requires 5 hour window when booked on the website so the latest you can do is 12pm which collection up to 5pm for the same day.
Don’t forget to use the Tracking number generated by Amazon while booking the collection as otherwise you will be charged £2ish for the collection which is free when you use Amazon tracking number.

They have changed (are changing) from having UPS drivers to self-employed agency workers doing the collections. We have had no end of trouble since the switch over, also collections requested through the online portal are not being processed by their system. Some error on their end. Calling works fine though.

It’s probably to do with the Strikes. For example the exact same thing happens on Parcelforce… they are not even supposed to have Strikes yet, however collections were not working - I phoned them and this is the cause.

We’re having various issues with UPS at the moment. Asking for customs charges upon delivery for DDP orders and boxes in their warehouse that either never make it to us or severely delayed.

I normally book before 10am on the day I want collection, usually collects around 1:30pm

I booked my collection yesterday for any time after 1:30pm. But the driver came today at 12:20pm when I was out. Why do they do this? So frustrating! Now I have no idea if they are coming today or not.
