Multi Discount to Customer but FBA charges per unit
I want to give multi discount if customer buy same SKU in multiple quantity. But Amazon FBA charges fee per item. If FBA fee for 1 unit is £4, even if I will give 10% discount for two items, I will be charged £8. In reality when we sell as FBM, normally if we most couriers charge same rate up to 2 kg parcel. Weight of 1 item is 1 kg just to make things easier.
I think amazon should discount FBA fee if number of units increase for Small and standard parcels. This will allow sellers to give more multi discount and order value will increase too.
Amazon team is busy making changes in how seller central look but they are not thinking on this issue. Am I missing somethign?

This is the reason that I don’t offer multi-item discounts for FBA. Only FBM.
Amazon know how they charge FBA but they will not change it. Remember that FBA fees fund their own delivery costs for what they sell.
They will say that the FBA is not just the cost of final delivery but it includes movements between FCs and other costs and this is why they don’t charge less for multi-item orders.
