Selling vinyl records - help!

Hi,

A few months back inherited a large collection of old vinyl records from my Dad.

I set up this account to sell some of them on.

I have been allowed to list 1 7 inch vinyl records but now it wont let me list anymore unless I provide a purchase order for ten items or something like that?! I have nothing like that as I am not a professional buy/seller or even an amateur one.

Am I not allowed to just sell a few individual vinyl records on here? Is there something I am doing wrong or am missing here?

Any help would be great! Thankyou!

just checking that you have listed your items as ‘used’ ?

there are, unfortunately, a lot of new sellers who are trying to list 2nd hand items and amazon still want invoices for them - which is madness - most have jumped ship and sold on eBay - Amazon’s loss !

Music and films are essentially gated to the point that it isn’t a viable platform for new sellers to sell used items. As you’ve seen ungating requires invoices for new stock, but even then it is likely amazon will decline the application.
Have a look at something like discogs or ebay instead.

Are you saying you successfully listed just one 7" record and it is now showing for sale on Amazon?

If that’s right, and it was correctly listed under the CD and vinyl category, I’m not sure why you’d be blocked from listing more.

Are you adding to existing listings or are you attempting to create new ASINs from scratch?

Also, are you using ‘add a product’ from seller central or 'Sell on Amazon ’ from the product page itself?
