Amazon is charging extra shipping
If anyone could point me in the right direction then that would be great.
So we are currently sending out our own orders from amazon. Our shipping fees are included in our products price. So the customer isn’t paying for shipping.
Here comes the problem. On selected orders, Amazon is charging an extra shipping fee, that they should not be doing. This fee is then paid by the customer but we never see that amount of money. Amazon is never in contact with the product or has anything to do with shipping.
We have an idea that this is happening when i.e a customer in Austria buys a product from amazon.de. Then this customer is charged extra. Whereas when a german customer buys the same produkt he/she isn’t charged.
Is this a settings problem? And is it possible to retrieve the shipping money that Amazon has charged to the unlucky customers?
Thank you for taking the time to read this, good day.

Are you a subscription/pro seller? Have you set your shipping templates on all marketplaces? I take it these are FBM (shipped by you, non-Prime) sales?

It might be an import sales tax and not an extra shipping charge.
Some countries now charge this on international ecommerce orders. Amazon (and a few other platforms) add it on (the customer has to pay this) and submit it to the relevant tax authority on your behalf.
