What is Amazon CS doing?
Buyer complained to Customer service, we had sent her the wrong item, and delivery was late. So they told us to send her a prepaid label. We refused, as checking the order, what she had received was what she ordered and delivery was in fact 3 days early. They then said the buyer was sending back the item, but we must refund her on receipt. The buyer later contacted us direct, and repeated the facts. Have heard nothing since. Refusing a return may see a refund without return if the buyer, or CS open an A-Z claim.
CS don’t know if the buyer received the correct goods, or not, so their action to request return is to be expected.

CS opened an A-Z against me for an order saying buyer was still waiting on item and she contacted seller but they didn’t respond, I checked messages no message from this buyer,
I checked tracking it showed delivered,
I entered my response on the A-Z that it showed delivered and I mentioned we hadn’t received any communication from this buyer,
Next thing A-Z closed buyer withdrew claim. I’m guessing it was because CS opened an A-Z against me by mistake when it should have been for another seller.

We have also had 2 more contacts in the last 2 days of customer complaints for items we never sold. Clearly bought from other sellers but how is this happening?
