Setting up a US Amazon FBA Account

Hello

I was wondering if we have any sellers who have UK accounts and have expanded to having a US operation.

I understand we can link our existing account and potentially have our private label brand reviews replicated in the US set up.

What I am curious about is those who have done this, their exerpeicenes and pitfalls we need to look out for?

Whether we need to have a US dollor bank account to receive funds and what US tax registration we need to look into.

I have done some google searches but most of these articles talk in the abstract sense in relation to this idea rather then the actaul detail I should be considering.

I'm happy to pointed out to any relevant reading materiel that might already exist.
