Multiple Account Policy
Hopefully some here can help us, we have been deactivated due to amazon picking us up as having more than one account.
They have asked us provide supporting documentation but has not told us what documentation we should provide.
We do not have more than one account, the only account which had a similar name (surname only) is a account create by nephew over 10 years ago in which has not been used for 8 years and is nothing to do with our current business. They have never worked for us or any had thing to do with the business

You need to post the notice you recieved.
But they have obviously linked the accounts, possibly to the same address?
But the old account, will be suspended for some reason, which is why you have the issue.

Address is different and the account they seem to link to has not been used for over 10 years and is not in my Name, business or otherwise. My nephew has not had anything to do with the business at all and does not even live in the UK anymore.

Supporting documentation may include sales deed, purchase agreement, or business transfer agreement. – If you do not recognize the above account and believe this deactivation was in error, submit an appeal in the Account Health Dashboard and confirm that this account does not belong to you. Having more than one account is not actually a problem in itself. That’s a common misconception here.
But the accounts must be for seperate legal entities ie two seperate registered businesses and not selling in the same category on Amazon.
They’ve only asked you to “confirm that this account does not belong to you” because of the alleged violation by the other account.

We have the same problem here. Account got deactivated due to a connection to an ex employees account. We’re battling for 3 weeks now. Not easy as not a clear explanation what they need. They want us to prove we don’t have a connection to another account by submitting documents but it’s easier to prove you own somehting that to prove you don’t lol
