Selling handmade items internationally

Ok, so I have set up shop and listed 4 items just to see what happens. And nothing happens, no views and no sales only to find out I am only appearing on the co.uk website. I have tried to figure out how to make my items appear in all of amazon but unsuccessfully. I think something asked me to create new listing, seriously , that can’t be right? Why are my listings not just shared/copied over to the EU and US sites. Why the heck is all this separate and who in hell has the time to create the same listing again and again for every single country? I must be getting something wrong.

If an item doesnt already exist on another European site then you have to create the listing in the relevant language. As your items are presumably unique then you have to create each listing. US site is entirely seperate account.

It sounds to me that you are expecting everything to be done for you and for you to just sit on your lounger by your swimming pool waiting for money to fall on your lap.

Not how it works I’m afraid.

Amazon EU covers the 5 marketplaces of UK, DE, FR, IT and ES.
If you wish to sell outside of the UK and in any of these other marketplaces, you have to create the Artisan Profile and listings in the relevant market place and use the language appropriate for that country.
Being a customer centric company, Amazon do not want to exclude buyers that do not speak English and this is why seller’s must list, and be able to conduct business, in the language of the country they are selling in.
It is not possible to share/link your listings across because a seller must translate their listings. The system is not designed to automatically translate as details and titles may be ‘lost in translation’. There is also the issue of the complicated programming involved with running the Artisan Storefront, customisations and bulk files not being able to ‘carry’ the information over.
If you wish to list on Amazon US and/or other Amazon platforms- bear in mind that countries have different laws, banking systems and regulations and so a seller must open a separate selling account for these.
Through the Sell Globally feature, it is possible to link seller accounts but Artisan Profile and listings still need to be created separately for reason outlined above.
