Money taken from my account
Hi Amazon selling stole money out of my account. I have been trying since 11th of February to get my £30 back from amazon for my seller account that I didn’t even want to have. Sorry I have to add they won’t verify my account ??? The same account they stole the money from.

They did not steal your money, you obviously signed up for the Professional selling account, albeit unknowingly, just like many, many others applying to open a seller account on Amazon.
You need to downgrade to an Individual Selling Plan - go to Settings (top right of account page) - Account Info - Your Services - Manage - and downgrade.
Then you need to open a case with Seller Support and request a refund of your £30 fee - it could take quite some time, be warned.

You can’t blame Amazon for your own mistake ! This forum is full of previous threads from people who have signed up to sell on Amazon, haven’t got a clue what they’re doing and then cry wolf when Amazon charges them £30 for the privilege. If those wishing to sign up read the rules and regs on the Amazon University link, then these situations can be avoided.

Thanks Jily . I did downgrade the moment they STOLE THE MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT. I have had 32 emails back and forth in 16 days regarding this. And if you could explain to me why this is not theft I would be really grateful. As you know most emails from the crooks cannot be replied to, so when I did eventually speak to one of their Foot soldiers they hadn’t a clue who I was, and I have been buying products of the crooks for years. And at the end of the day if I did sign up to the account in error, do they have the right to keep my money?

Navek may have made a mistake - easy to do when you are navigating Amazon’s sometimes awkward protocols and you haven’t been in the game for long. But why so harsh and, frankly, holier than thou? I thought the forum was to help each other out.

I would say if an error like this can make you so impassioned then do not even consider taking it further and selling on Amazon…or at least have no sharp objects and operate from a padded room if you do
as it can be far more exasperating than that…and frequent!!
