Hermes contact number and missing parcel issues
Hi,
I am a new seller so I’ve been posting all parcels myself.
Most of them with Hermes, however one recently got missing. I’ve paid for postage through amazon, so the tracking number has letters and numbers. I can’t get past the bots with this one , parcel was supposed to be delivered 5 days ago so the customer is complaining. The Amazon customer service was was 0 help they just told me they have only email and phone number on their website which sends me to bots. Anyone got a solution how to get in touch with normal person?

There are numerous threads on this issue on the forum, especially surrounding a) the difficulty in tracking an item and b) who is responsible when an item is lost (Amazon or Hermes). So, your tracking number will begin with:
T00TNA…then the numbers. Is this correct?

- OK, this is the latest update I have for the parcel 18th of March @ 23:51 Your local courier tried to deliver your parcel but there was a problem. They will try again on their next working day Sent by Amazon MFN Tier 1
It looks like there may be a delay
That’s the extract from the webchat. Customer service number sends me to webchat. Endless loop.
- Yes the tracking number begins with T00TNA

I have been waiting 10 days for Amazon to explain how I make a claim with Hermes. In truth I have accepted this as a cost of using the SFP process. This morning when I have tried to ‘buy shipping’ for my orders I have noticed that there is no Hermes option. The great news is Amazon have defaulted to a Royal Mail option… £35 to send a 10kg parcel to a BT post code. The item I am sending has a total price of £22.99…deduct Vat and Amazon fees and the cost of the item I am about £15 in the red!! Perfect!!
