How long for my account to be approved?

Hi everyone,

I have been waiting almost 5 weeks now for my amazon seller account to be approved/validated. I have heard nothing back off any one from Amazon, is this normal as I have seen it should be no longer than a few days to be approved usually.

Im just worrying I have not done something right!

If anyone knows could they please inform me, also is there someone I can contact?

It is currently normal for it to take many, many weeks so it’s likely nothing you have done. You can’t really speed it up either so just spend the time looking through Seller University and making sure you have everything in order for when it’s time to start selling.

Mine is the same! Almost 6 weeks now and it is really frustrating. But it’s good to know that at least it’s not only me!

We are in a similar position having waited nearly 8 weeks for the account to be verified with no telling that it won’t be kicked back again. After many years of trading they wanted shareholder information that was not required previously. This has now been supplied but the frustration is you cannot speak to anyone or progress the matter to ensure it is actually being reviewed.

We’ve been waiting since August 2020. Frustrating thing is that we have been selling on Amazon in the Middle East for a number of years but can’t be a global seller as we run under a different parent company here in the UK (same brand)… so we had to register as a new account…3 months later… still waiting…but good to hear we aren’t the only ones! Keep strong guys :slight_smile:
