Seller Fulfilled Prime - says waiting for collection, but will amazon collect?
Please can someone help me, it’s to do with the prime trial.
I’ve just started the trial and had my first sale today, and I didn’t know what to do. I bought the shipping through amazon like I am meant to, but it wouldn’t give me Royal Mail as an option so I chose Evri as that’s the only choice. I know I now need to someone link RM account with Amazon but am having issues with that too.
I selected next day and it went through, auto marked as shipped, and then I didn’t know how to get it sent, so we took it to the Evri collection shop, but it wouldn’t scan.
Then I saw on the status ‘waiting on collection’
Does this mean Amazon collect?
I’m really stressed about this, as it’s taken ages to even get on the trial, and I’m going to muck it up on the first order and lose prime.
I’ve googled till I’m blue in the face if amazon collect, and someone said they collect if you have 50+ orders?
Any help please, to stop me going mad. I’m running out of time if I can get it to the Evri shop as think they collect at 4pm.
Thank you.

It means you need to organise a collection with evri , which you won’t be able to do today
You’ll need to cancel the label and buy directly from RM
You need to link your RM account before trying to get through the SFP trial tbh
Settings - account info - buy delivery preferences - manage your carrier accounts - add your RM account number
Presuming you already have agreed Tracked24 prices

I know you will think I’m being harsh but BEFORE clicking in “start trial”, all these things should have been looked into and answers found.
You know what they say about failing to plan, don’t you?

Does anyone know how to arrange an Evri collection when it’s already been booked in by Amazon?
I’ve tried every way I can, but it looks like you have to book it from scratch and not book in with an existing tracking (like RM do).
We’ve gone to the Evri drop off shop to try again.

I’m not sure if anyone wants an update, but Evri collected it from the shop, and the tracking now says ‘we’ve got it’!!!
I’m so relieved. I cannot explain.
Thank you for help and just talking it through.
I really did read so much, but I still don’t understand it, why it wouldn’t scan, how to arrange a collection if already bought.
I might pull the prime shipping settings until I know what I’m doing as I can’t go through this again.
Will look at RM and linking that.

I’m very glad you managed to sort it out.
The above para was the reason for my earlier comment.

Quite often with Evri I see ‘waiting for collection’ for days and then suddenly it’s delivered. I had stopped using Evri as too unreliable but recently I started again for the Buy Shipping thing. One delayed Yodel parcel costed me a few hundred pounds

Apologies if Im repeating anything previously said. You need to get everything correct with SFP otherwise you will have to wait a MUCH longer time to complete the trial.
If you are using Evri, you must drop off at a parcelshop. They will not collect your items, unless you have signed up for a contract with Evri business services.
The problem with Parcelshops is that Evri do not collect every day at the same day. With amazon SFP you are committing to have your mail collected AFTER a minimum of 4PM each day, and a minimum of 12PM on a saturday or sunday.
If you drop your packages at the parcelshop after 4pm, at the end of the day, to meet your same day dispatch obligations, it is most likely that Evri will not collect until the following day which will then throw out your on time delivery rate - even tho you did everything correctly. It’ll then display a later delivery estimate to the customer, and even tho it will show the prime badge, it wont be as competitive as someone offering prime with next day delivery.
When you buy Evri shipping through amazon, after you’ve printed your label, the item will display as ’ waiting for collection '. It will remain this way until an Evri courier has scanned the item - not the parcelshop.
Unless you have an Evri contract where they will collect your mail, using a parcelshop for SFP is NOT a good idea. If you want SFP to succeed, you will need a courier that collects and scans your mail each day after the minimum cut off times. SFP is incredibly tough on you with the seller metrics and requires the courier to be as perfect as you - which, in my experience, they never are, and never will be.
It is achievable, but you will almost never meet amazons expectations due to the couriers level of service.
