Account verification with Persona



Got this email supposedly from Amazon but worried it is a scam. Messaged Amazon after first receiving it but assured my account health was OK and that I had already been verified. However, have now received the mail again. Don't want my account deactivated but equally not sure about giving ID information to third party, Persona. Has anyone got experience of whether this is genuine or not? If fraudulent why doesn't Amazon warn about it?

So I am posting again as the original thread is now locked. Got a response from Amazon suggesting this was a phishing email. Turns out it wasnt as my account is now deactivated because I didnt verify my ID. All "helpful" responses from Amazon when appealing the decision ask me to follow links in the original emails, which I cant as I deleted them believing them to be scams. Doesnt seem any way out of this and seller help dont seem interested, so any ideas of how to solve this issue welcome.

Just wondering as a buyer messaged me saying they need to exchange a product I messaged them back saying no problems etc.. the next message was "don't worry iv purchased directly off your Website I'll send this back for a refund"

I haven't don't anything to lead them to my website etc no cards in packaging or anything.. just abit worried Amazon will take it the wrong way as I'd I lead them to my website. Anyone else had anything like this before?

Anyone experienced a phone call from Amazon saying that there was a suspicious activity and urgent action needed for verification ?

Had a call today saying that there was some suspicious login attempts on my account and so I need to urgently follow the instructions on text message sent by them otherwise they will terminate my seller account... I ended call, haven't provided that person any details. Then I've checked my account asking amazon Account Health Assurance to call me directly and was told that nothing is going on that is probably was a scam to try to get my personal data or something else...
