My Account is deactivated due to relation with another deactivated account

Thank you for your post. I understand your account is deactivated because your account is related to your husbands account.

You mention that you have no link to your husbands account and you are working on your account separately. They were linked together because they share information. What personal information do the two accounts share? Are you using the same computer? Did your husband ever access your account or did you ever access his?

Because your accounts share information, I recommend reading our seller code of conduct help page. It mentions if any of your accounts are not in good standing, we may deactivate your selling account until all accounts are active and in good standing.

As @Pepper_Thine_Angus mentions, you are not able to delete your account once it is deactivated. He will need to get his account reinstated first before he can close it permanently.

What was his account deactivated for? I recommend that he check his performance notifications to make sure that all the reasons for his account’s suspension have been resolved. Once his account is reactivated, then he can close it.

As @The_Sawle_Mill brings up, a divorce is something you can provide evidence for that the accounts are no longer related. If you are in a situation where you are going through a separation, then you can provide legal documentation that the relationship and account involvement has ended.

As @Tech_Valley_Office_I mentions, the best path to reactivate your account will be to have your husband’s account reactivated. Once his account is reinstated, you can submit an appeal for your account to be reinstated.
