Removing the DEFAULT fulfillment channel
Hello,
After a frustrating 3-week long struggle with a stranded inventory and equally long and frustrating dealing with the Seller’s support, I have just got their advice no. 14 on this issue, and it seems to make sense. Unfortunately, I do not understand what exactly am I supposed to do.
You can find the advice below. Please, could somebody help with it? How to remove the “DEFAULT fulfilment channel”? I’ve done both partial and full flat inventory file updates for this issue several times already, but the advice mentions some “channel switch Feed” What is that? Where to find it?

I understand that your concern is regarding the Stranded inventory.
Having checked with the internal team I was able to find that the seller should remove the DEFAULT fulfillment channel.
Internal team asked to submit a fulfillment channel switch Feed to remove the incorrect channel. Seller has to submit partial update feed and mention the correct channel AMAZON_EU as in the feed to remove the other exchange.

That very much sounds like they are referring to a file upload, rather than just amending a listing etc.
I think your better off bouncing that one back, as nonsense.

I have only used uploads a few times and it was a slightly customised version of Amazon’s, so i expect someone else can offer a better explanation.
In the version i was using there was a column called “fulfillment center ID” which allows either “default” or “Amazon EU”. I think they’re just saying to use the latter rather than the former but making it seem more complex.
Could be totally wrong of course.
